Privacy Policy

Effective Date: Sep 23, 2025

  1. INTRODUCTION. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how C2IQ Inc. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information through its website, online platform (the “Platform”), mobile application, (the “App”), and its personnel assessments (the “Assessments,” and collectively with the website, Platform, and App, the “Services”).
  2. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND HOW WE USE IT.  As explained further in this section, you will have the opportunity to provide us with certain personal information. In addition, we may collect your personal information from third parties or automatically through your use of the Services. We will use this information to provide you with the functionality of our Services, to improve our Services, and to provide you with information about our Services. The rest of this section provides a more detailed explanation of the personal information we collect and how we use that personal information.
    1. Voluntarily Disclosed Information.
      1. Account Creation. In order to create your account on the Platform, you will need to provide your name, work email address (if you have one), and mobile phone number. Depending on the type of access you have to the Platform, you may also be required to choose a password.
      1. Assessment Invitations. If your employer would like us to send you an invitation to take an Assessment, your employer will send us your name, email address, and mobile phone number. We will use this information to communicate with you about your Assessment, and to send you certain educational content via text message.
      1. Assessment Responses. If you complete an Assessment, we will have access to any personal information you choose to include within your responses. We will not share your individual Assessment responses with your employer or their consultant. We use this data only in aggregate to look at trends across groups, never to evaluate individuals.
      1. Company Communications. We may communicate with you if you’ve provided us the means to do so. For example, if you’ve given us your email address, we may email you about your account and your use of the Services.
      1. Marketing Recipient. If you are interested in learning more about our Services, you may subscribe to promotional emails from us via our website. In order to subscribe, you will be asked to provide your name and email address. If you are not otherwise a user of our Services, we will only use your personal information to send marketing communications relating to products and services that we offer.
    1. Automatically Collected Information.
      1. Browser & Device Information. Whenever you interact with the Services, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser or device, which may include your IP address, geolocation data, device identification, “cookie” information, the type of device you’re using to access the Services, the amount of time spent on the Services, and the page or feature you requested. “Cookies” are identifiers we transfer to your browser or device that allow us to recognize your browser or device and tell us how and when pages and features in the Services are visited and by how many people. You may be able to change the preferences on your browser or device to prevent or limit your device’s acceptance of cookies, but this may prevent you from taking advantage of some of our features. We use the data we automatically collect from you to improve the Services – for example, this data can tell us how often users use a particular feature of the Services, and we can use that knowledge to make the Services interesting to as many users as possible.
      1. Emails and Text Messages. We may receive a confirmation when you open an email or text message from us.
  3. TEXT MESSAGES. We do not sell or share your phone number, consent status, or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and message data are used only to deliver the Services (e.g., educational texts) and may be shared with service providers solely to provide those services. Please see Section 4 for more information about the limited situations in which we may share your personal information.
  4. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION.  We may disclose your personal information to the categories of third parties identified in this section.
    1. Personnel and Third Party Service Providers. We employ personnel and engage other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your personal information with them to provide products or services to you. For example, we use Twilio to send text messages to Assessment takers.
    1. Analytics Services. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors engage with our Services. Section 2.2.1 above summarizes the type of information we have access to through our use of Google Analytics. You can learn more about the information that Google has access to at the following website: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
    1. Anonymous Information. We do not share your personal Assessment responses or results with your employer or their consultant. However, we may provide aggregate reports to them. These reports will only provide aggregate analysis of five or more Assessments, and will not include any of your personal information.
    1. Business Transfers. If we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, personal information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.
    1. Legal Compliance. We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we believe is necessary to comply with governmental requests, law enforcement or court orders, or enforce or apply our Terms of Service and other agreements.
  5. SECURITY. We use commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information. In addition, we enter into contracts with all of our third party service providers that require reasonable precautions be taken against unauthorized uses of your personal information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant that these precautions will always be successful or that your personal information on the Services may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
  6. MODIFICATION, DELETION & RETENTION OF INFORMATION. If you have an account on the Platform, you may access, edit and delete your profile information. Please understand, however, that it may be impossible to delete this information completely, due to backups and records of deletions. In addition, we may deny a deletion request if the denial is necessary for us to comply with applicable law. You may not request the removal of de-identified, anonymous, or aggregate data from our databases.

If you do not have an account on our Platform, but have taken an Assessment and you would like for us to delete your information, please contact your employer. We will work with your employer and their consultant to remove any relevant information.

Subject to your right to request deletion of your personal information, we will retain your personal information as long as needed for your use of the Services, your approved receipt of marketing communications from us, our compliance with legal obligations, and to protect our or other’s interests.

  • HOW WE RESPOND TO DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS. We will honor your exercise of your rights with respect to your personal information in accordance with Section 6. Apart from those rights, we do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
  • AGE OF USERS. Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use, access or register for the Platform in any way. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
  • CHANGES TO POLICY. We’re constantly trying to improve the Services, so we may need to change this Policy from time to time as well. The date of the last modification will be posted at the beginning of this Policy. It is your responsibility to check from time to time for updates. By continuing to access or use the Services, you are indicating that you agree to be bound by the modified Policy.
  • CONTACT US. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Policy, please send us a detailed message to support@c2iq.io, and we will try to resolve your concerns.
